Does anyone have some suggestions for the layout? RamblinEvilMushroom 17:21, 22 October 2010 (MDT)

I'll make this later tonight- it was going to be similar to the EB one, except it would use the M3 stats/damage/chances. →Tinā δ 18:55, 22 October 2010 (MDT)
Need any help? RamblinEvilMushroom 21:22, 22 October 2010 (MDT)
I think I'll be okay to work with the template, I just need some sleep right now lol. I wanted to at least get the template up before I forgot. Thanks for the offer, though! →Tinā δ 00:53, 23 October 2010 (MDT)
Okay, kinda finished it, I guess? The strengths/weaknesses part was kind of tough trying to make it look nice... I'm really not sure about the poison part, though. :V I kept seeing it in the walkthrough I was using for reference, but I can't name something in the game one can use to poison enemies with. I was considering replacing it with DCMC merchandise effect (without such a long name, lol), but really that's just for one enemy AFAIK and it'd be put on his article. There's also Salsa's two abilities, but you use him for just one chapter in the game and thus it's just unused data for a lot of enemies... and would make it a not even 12.
tl;dr GAH THIS TEMPLATE IS A PAIN TO MAKE EVEN. lol →Tinā δ 11:12, 23 October 2010 (MDT)
*thinking* Uh... *brain hurting* What about... feeling strange/ confusion? God, they really went overboard with the virtually useless status effects in Mother 3... RamblinEvilMushroom 18:58, 23 October 2010 (MDT)
Feeling strange would go under Brainshock (since PK Flash has a set chance of working, unlike EB)... hmm. Maybe I'll figure out a design that would work with 11 somehow. XD →Tinā δ 19:25, 23 October 2010 (MDT)
Oh.. I forgot about laughing/apologizing. Could you use those? Sorry for my keeping coming up with suggestions, or... Something like that. RamblinEvilMushroom 23:47, 23 October 2010 (MDT)

Battle song?

Should there be a row in this template for what battle song the enemy uses? (Helpful to know for comboing, etc.) Miles (talk) 15:09, 12 February 2011 (MST)

That sounds like a good idea. MP3 anybody? Shayminguy7 15:53, 12 February 2011 (MST)
Listing the song title wouldn't be a bad idea, but an MP3 would likely be pretty illegal and may put us in hot water. →Tinā δ 18:12, 12 February 2011 (MST)
I definitely meant the title, yeah. So one can see "oh this enemy uses Zombeat, and this one uses Serious" and so on. Miles (talk) 10:06, 13 February 2011 (MST)

Multiple items?

I was working on Mr. Batty's article, and it seems this template doesn't cover instances when enemies drop more than one type of item... (The Greedier Mouse will need three, even.) Miles (talk) 11:10, 24 March 2011 (MDT)

I did a workaround for most of them. Only two enemies can't do it the way I did;
  1. Monkalrus
  2. Pigmask Colonel
The reason for this is actually linking. Most enemies that drop items drop items of the same type; like the Greedier Mouse only dropping food items... but these drop two different types so I'm not sure what to do with the linking...

EDIT: For now, I'm just hiding the mistake the template makes... doesn't seem like theres much else I can do considering I fail at making templates...Multus 19:21, 29 May 2011 (MDT)

Fixed! If an enemy drops two different types of items, use item2 instead of item as the command, and just add the brackets yourself for each item. Multus 02:46, 4 September 2011 (EDT)

As the majority of the enemies do have two battle sprites, where would the secondary ones best be suited? I do personally think having them alongside their "main" sprite in the infobox would look the nicest (though I can't correctly modify a template to save my life). Having them placed in some sort of gallery wouldn't be too nifty imo, as most enemies don't really have many other sprites other than the overworld and in-battle ones. Just thought that it'd be good if we'd reach some sort of agreement concerning this. Or sumfin. Sun Braid 10:53, 15 June 2011 (EDT)

Huh. Miles and I were just talking about this yesterday. (Psychic much?) We were thinking of doing a nifty tab-switch thing like this, but I think that requires some fancy javascript to be implemented. Nevertheless I'll probably look into it anyway, because that's pretty cool. Failing that, alongside the main sprite in the infobox would look the best. →Tinā δ 12:15, 15 June 2011 (EDT)
+10 awesomeness points to whoever figures out how this works and can set it up so that we have an optional trigger to make the image part of this infobox tabbable. Miles (talk) 13:23, 15 June 2011 (EDT)
Ask Tacopill for help with tabber, he has the most experience with it, though someone else is prolly gunna have to code in the stylings and stuffs. Malake256 13:38, 15 June 2011 (EDT)

Monkey Tricks

While I'm doing templates:Would it be OK if I made an optional thing to throw on some of the chapter 3/7 stuff for Salsa's monkey tricks? I think it'd be good to have the information there, at least for the chapter 3 stuff.

Also, the poison stat is unused, except on Alkaline Man. Everything except him has 0 in that stat, sooo... I think the DCMC thing would fit there pretty well, and wouldn't be very troublesome. I think we should make an optional thing for the poison stat just to stick on Alkaline Man's page, too, or note it in trivia, 'Cause he had to be all weird and screw everything up.
